Donald Trump made his name — and found his fame — in East Coast real
estate. Now "The Apprentice" star has set his sights on the Las Vegas
skyline.

"The Donald" is planning to build a $300 million, 64-story
hotel-apartment complex on the Las Vegas Strip. The Trump International
Hotel and Tower Las Vegas is expected to break ground in early 2005,
with completion slated for late 2006. The project is a joint venture
between Trump and Frontier Hotel-Casino owner Phil Ruffin.

Trump Tower will house more than 1,000 hotel-style units ranging from
636 square feet to 1,057 square feet. Owners can lease their units on
a time-share basis through Trump's management company when they are not
in residence. There will also be 50 apartments ranging from 3,000
square feet to 10,000 square feet.

The tower will be clad in 24-karat-gold glass and will be among the
city's tallest buildings.
